Conference on the 30th anniversary of the dissolution of the Soviet Union

Speakers from Denmark, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia and Lithuania presented at the conference.

With a specific focus on the political and historical development of individual countries which materialized as a consequence of the dissolution.

The conference was held in “Fællessalen” at The Danish Parliament on Friday 6th May 2022 and lasted for 6 hours.

The were 14 speakers, 5 Danish and 9 from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia and Lithuania. Most well-known were Danish MP Martin Lidegaard, former foreign minister of Denmark Uffe Ellemann-Jensen and Andrius Kubilius, former prime minister of Lithuania.
